Accurate Battery ‘Fuel Gauge’ and Time-to-Go Indicator
The BMV-700 series provides precise, real-time insight into your battery’s condition — including state of charge, remaining time-to-go, and power consumption in watts.
Battery capacity depends on several factors such as ampere-hours consumed, discharge rate, temperature, and battery age. The BMV series uses advanced software algorithms to calculate accurate readings by accounting for all these variables.
Along with basic information such as voltage, current, and ampere-hours consumed, the BMV-702 adds a programmable input that can measure:
Bluetooth Smart Connectivity
Add the Bluetooth Smart Dongle to monitor your batteries directly from your smartphone, tablet, or laptop (iOS, Android, or macOS).
Easily view system data in real-time using the VictronConnect app for convenient, wireless access.
Easy Installation
Installation is quick and straightforward:
All electrical connections link to the quick-connect PCB on the current shunt.
The shunt connects to the monitor with a standard RJ12 cable (10 m included).
A battery cable with fuse (2 m), front bezels (square and round), mounting ring, and screws are all included — no extra components required.
Simple Configuration
A quick setup menu and detailed scrolling-text interface make programming easy.
For faster setup, configure everything through the VictronConnect smartphone app (Bluetooth Smart Dongle required).
Midpoint Voltage Monitoring (BMV-702 Only)
Previously available only in industrial systems, midpoint voltage monitoring is now accessible at an affordable level.
This feature tracks voltage halfway along a battery string to detect imbalance between cells — an early warning for failing or mismatched batteries.
Deviations from the ideal midpoint voltage can indicate improper care or a defective cell, allowing corrective action before costly damage occurs.
