The Battery Balancer equalizes the state of charge between two series-connected 12V batteries, or across multiple parallel strings of series-connected batteries.
When the charge voltage of a 24V system exceeds 27V, the Battery Balancer activates and compares the voltages of the two batteries. It then draws up to 1A from the battery (or batteries) with the higher voltage, allowing the charge currents to rebalance until all batteries reach the same state of charge.
Multiple Battery Balancers can be connected in parallel if required.
A 48V battery bank can be balanced with three Battery Balancers.
